This is a 10-Centavos coin issued in AD 1937 by Bolivia, a landlocked country in South America. The coin is made of cupronickel.

The obverse of the coin features two beaded circles. At the centre is the coat of arms used by Bolivia from AD 1888 to AD 1961. It depicts a rising sun emerging from behind the Andes Mountains, a house with a chimney situated on the mountainside, and a llama along with bundles of harvested wheat on the grasslands below. The upper edge bears the Spanish inscription of the country’s name, “REPUBLICA DE BOLIVIA” (Republic of Bolivia), while the lower edge is adorned with nine five-pointed stars, symbolising Bolivia’s nine provinces.

The reverse of the coin features a beaded circle. At its centre is an image of a hand holding a torch, symbolising liberty, with a pair of pliers beneath the torch, representing labour. To the left and right of the emblem is the denomination, “10 Cts”. The upper edge bears the full denomination in Spanish, “DIEZ CENTAVOS” (10 Centavos), while the lower edge displays the year of issuance, “1937.”

錢幣正面有兩道珠圈，正中央的圖騰是公元1888至1961年間，玻利維亞使用的國徽，即一顆從安地斯山背後冉冉升起的太陽，半山腰有一棟帶有煙囪的房子，山腳下的草原有一隻羊駝和收割後綑綁成束的麥穗。外圍的上緣以西班牙文標示國名「REPUBLICA DE BOLIVIA」(玻利維亞共和國)，下緣的九枚五角星則代表玻利維亞的九個省份。

錢幣背面有一道珠圈，正中央是舉著火炬象徵自由的手，火炬下方有一把象徵勞工的鉗子。圖騰的左右兩側為面額「10 Cts」，上緣是以西班牙文標示的完整面額「DIEZ CENTAVOS」(10分)，下緣則是發行年份「1937」。
